Tacos Tamix starts with the trompo. The meat turns by the flame, the tortillas hit the plancha, and every taco gets onion, cilantro, and salsa before it reaches your hand. That simple rhythm has carried us across Los Angeles.
The Heart of the Trompo
Al pastor is what many people know us for, and the red trompo is hard to miss. We slice the meat for tacos, burritos, mulitas, and the rest of the order. The taco keeps it classic with a corn tortilla, onion, cilantro, and house salsa.
A Menu That Gets to the Point
Start with tacos, then add what sounds good. We serve burritos, tortas, quesadillas, mulitas, alambres, fajitas, papa asada, gringas, huaraches, and drinks. Cash and card prices are listed clearly on the menu.
Serving Los Angeles Late
Eleven trucks now serve Los Angeles and the South Bay, including our Gardena stop on Crenshaw Boulevard. Many stay open well into the night. Check the hours, choose the truck that fits your route, and come hungry.
Why People Come Back
People come back for the trompo, the salsa, the late hours, and the feeling of eating a hot taco right by the truck. That is the Tamix story. It grows one order at a time.
Find your truck, check the hours, and we will see you by the trompo.
